Why window 7 cannot read all the files in the usb whereas window xp can

My USB is able to read 211 files in my PC with Window XP but when I inserted the same drive to another PC computer with Window 7, it will only show 113 items, it realy bothers me why one computer cannot read all the files in the USB port.

Are those files protected and password locked by XP ?
