I haven't done a whole lot of testing, but I seem to have my 6850 pretty stable at 1ghz core and 1185mhz memory. However, my voltage is at 1.3v and some people say that's pushing it a little much and others say 1.3v is fine for a 6850. My exact card is a radeon 6850 msi cyclone pe (comes at stock 6850 settings) so it has high quality capacitors and whatnot. At full load it gets to about 68C and the fan runs at 68% (I can also up the speed of my case fans if I have to). I think the biggest problem is that I've had this card for about a year now (overclocked with stock voltage) and I still want another 3-4 years out of it. Most people seem to say that overclocked cards only last about 2 years. Should I reduce my overclock to get at least 3 years out of it or do you think my card can make it?
Here are the rest of my specs, if that helps:
asrock 770extreme3 motherboard
2x2gb and 2x4gb ddr3 1333mhz ram
antec 300 case
2 7200rpm hard drives
antec earthwatts 650w psu.
