[New System Build] $950 gaming PC

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: Less then a month

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: OS, Mice, Keyboard, Monitor, Speakers, Case, Video Card(s)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) Tigerdirect and or Newegg

PARTS PREFERENCES: Asus, Intel, OCZ, Corsair, EVGA, Nvidia, (u know, the most popular <3)

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Currently 1600x900 but going bigger on future.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I deffenetly want to be running on i7 Socket 1366.

But I will suggest a different CPU and mobo -
i7 930 + Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
Newer CPU + Newer mobo with SATA 6GB/s and USB 3.0

And any specific reason you went with a mATX mobo ? Having a small case ?

And what video cards do you have or planning to buy ? SLI ?
And does the PSU that you have selected have just 1 6PIn PCIe power connector ? (IU think you will need atleast 2 for powerful cards...

I have 1 GeForce GTS 250 1GB. but I could always upgrade in the future :)

^ When will you be upgrading the monitor and graphics card ?
Take a look at this article - It has some comparison between the i5 750 and i7 930...
IMO if it is a gaming build, then save money by going with i5 750 and get the GTX 470/ GTX480
