I need to know the steps in installing a ocz Petrol 128GB SSD into a Windows 7 machine, Thank you!

Presuming that you want to use it as OS drive!
Enter BIOS make sure SATA controller is set to ACHI mode, shut down install SSD unplug OS HDD, Start up from windows DVD and install windows then all your drivers, then shut down to reconnect back the HDD.
