Few years ago I bought a maxtor External storeage (very spensive at that time) 40 GB, for $399.00 . Short use and I forget for long time. Now I want to use it, but do not work! Don't show up in My computer! Is just blinking a green light...thast all. A waste of money.

I assume it connects by USB?
Does it use an external power supply?
Have you tried plugging it in to different USB port?
