  1. Whats your budget and what are you planning on powering with it? For a single card i suggest a nice 550W unit like the corsair 550VX

And for a dual card setup a nice 750W unit like the corsair 750TX would work well, but if you buy this weekend you can get the 850TX for the same price using promo code EMCYSNW38

  2. My budget is in the $80-$100 and im looking to oc my core 2 duo to about 4GHz so i need a cooler and im getting a msi R5770 hawk gpu.
  3. Take a look at the OCZ GameXStream, ModXStream and StealthXStream. They all offer a 500W supply for a decent price.
  4. Unless you want really top end, the Antec EA series and Corsair VX / TX series rule the roost here:

    Antec EA-550 9.5 performance rating

    Antec EA-650 9.0 performance rating

    Corsair VX550 9.5 performance rating

  5. Here you have some 500-550W quality options:

ANTEC Earthwatts 500W (by Delta Electronics)
    CORSAIR VX550 550W (by CWT)
    ENERMAX ECO80+ II 500W
    SEASONIC S12II Bronze 520 W
THERMALTAKE Toughpower QFan 500W (by CWT)

All these PSUs can handle a future graphic card upgrade (even a 5870 1Gb graphic card, which needs a 500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connectors)
  6. Thanks for all the info :)
