I'm looking for a new psu around 500-580w. At the moment i have a 450w( no brand) and I think its time to upgrade.

Whats your budget and what are you planning on powering with it? For a single card i suggest a nice 550W unit like the corsair 550VX

My budget is in the $80-$100 and im looking to oc my core 2 duo to about 4GHz so i need a cooler and im getting a msi R5770 hawk gpu.

Take a look at the OCZ GameXStream, ModXStream and StealthXStream. They all offer a 500W supply for a decent price.
