Hi,
I am getting the Asus P7P55D-E PRO motherboard and are choosing suitable RAM for it.
I maybe only need 4GB but want to go 8GB because I will probably use it from time to time. (video editing)
I am in australia and want to buy all my components from pccasegear.
I have been to ASUS QVL and downloaded pdf showing compatible RAMs then tried to match up with PCCaseGear's avalible Memory Didnt do so well here as no 8GB kits in QVL.
So since I like Cosair and G.Skil I went and use their memory selectors (Cosair) & (G.Skill)
Results
Cosair - CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 (4x2GB) DDR3 = $172
G.Skill - Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D 8GBRL (2x4GB) DDR3 =$170
G.Skill - 2 x Ripjaws F3-10666CL7D 4DGRH (2x2GB) DDR3 = $178
So if Corsair and GSkill say they are compatible, then they will be?
What would your choice be?
If you can find me a better choice from here please let me know.
Thanks
