I am trying to connect to a XP Pro SP2 machine using remote desktop. No
matter what machine I try to connect from I get "The Terminal Server has
Ended the connection". I have tried many thisngs to resolve this including:
Virus and spyware scans - it is clean
Shutting down the personal firewall
Moving the port that RDP uses from 3389 to 3390
I did a netstat -an and it is listening on port 3389
removing all service that are not Microsoft via msconfig
removing all startup programs via msconfig
Making sure Terminal services is running
I am at my wits end. Any other idea.
Byt the way I am trying to vconnect vai my local lan. The WINS and DNS seem
correct on this machine.
