Microsoft office 2007 problems with windows 7

Hello,
I am having windows 7 , i installed microsoft office 2007 , installation is completed but WORD & Excel files are not opening when i try to open word & Excel files it is showing "There was a problem sending the command to the program." Plz give me Sollution

Try the repair function and if that fails reinstall.
