7950 overclocking problem

Hi guys, today i tried to overclock my gigabyte 7950 windforce 3 for the first time. it has 900 mhz core clock and 1250 memory on stock. flashed it to the latest bios but...

i cant push my card on stock voltage with +20% power limit (msi afterburner) beyond: 970 mhz core clock and 1350 memory clock, even this is unstable in bf3, screen turns green and red. however in furmark i get no black screens or artifacts whatsoever.

is my card faulty?

no, as long as its working perfectly at stock clocks, it can't be considered faulty. Having a bad overclock is no reason for an RMA.
