G1/4 1/2" barb with 1/2" ID tubing

My xspc kit came with G1/4 1/2" barbs and 3/8" ID tubing. I am planning on buying new tubing but in the color I want they only have 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing. Is it safe to use this tubing? The inside diameter is slightly bigger so obviously it will be easier to get on or off but is it safe? Or should I also buy G1/4″ to 1/2″ ID, 3/4″ OD compression fitting?

cheers

That will be fine, the internal dianter<?? Diameter... is the same as the fitting @ 1/2",
so you'll have no worries, remember to clamp/cabletie for peace of mind :)

Okay cool thanks for that. A bit of re-assurance is all I needed.

Another thing, can I put these two things together to create a drain port? I already have a T-line connector so that's no problem.

You should be able to make a drain port from those yes.

Though something like this might be a cheaper option since its only one piece.

Yeah I was looking at that enzotech stop fitting but I live in south africa where water cooling parts are hard to come by. I will be ordering my stuff from this shop http://titan-ice.co.za/product_info.php?products_id=636... http://titan-ice.co.za/product_info.php?cPath=163_165&p... so I am very limited as to what I can get. I bought my original xspc water cooling stuff from Frozen CPU and just got a mate of mine to bring it in from the US.

But yeah, thanks, I will order my stuff soon :)
