Hey, sorry if this is already asked but all the ones i look at were about Overclocking which mines isnt.
I was wondering if my temps are too high?
Im using Real Temp
44 C average
while gaming starcraft 2 on high to ultra it goes to 78 max on the last core
44 44 44 44
gaming
75 75 72 78

is this to high? i have 2 fans at 120? in the from and the top and back. im getting a side fan on the way but its only 80mm speed, should i get a memory fan (OCZ)? or should i get a CPU heatsink?

if its a heat sink anything before like 35 lol sorry im cheap =p

Solution
IIRC those temperatures are actually normal with Intel's stock heatsink. A great heatsink for $34.99 is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus, which will allow you to overclock a little as well.

Thank lmeow, but if i dont ever intend to overclock should i stick with the stock heatsink or invest in the cooler master hyper 212? Im planning to play alot of games. THANKS! also these temps are they ok for long gaming time like say 10 hours?

lol thats 60+ lol, thx though but i went with the 212 since it wasnt that much farther than the tx3 but yea, if things do go well i might try to overclock it, well maybe if im not lazy lol. also i tihnk my problem was that i did not take off the old thermal paste when i had to reapply it like 5 months back and maybe this is causing it? i just put a new coat right over the old one lol =p oops

What you talking about, this is not a normal temps.

I had a stock cooler on i5 750 (stock speed) and my temps was:

Ambient temperature 16C

Idle: 40C-35C-40C-35C (almost always)
Load (prime95): 73C (average)
After gaming: 68C (average)

-Now with CM Hyper TX3 my temps is (and look closely, my CPU fan spin with only 50%):

Idle: 30C (average)

Load: 50C (average)

Tell me, what is you'r abmient temp?

Also if you look for cheap cooler, go for CM Hyper 212+ it's only $25-$45 ( i don't rememmber, but on one site this cooler was still 25$ (i don't go with 212+ only becouse he can't fit in my case)). If you don't have enough money and you'r not overclocker than go with CM Hyper TX3 it's only $19.99...

p.s. If you'r case is not 190mm width, don't buy, can't fit...

You ambient temp is like hell  But this is reason why you temp on CPU is too high. You must immidiatly buy solid cooler, CM Hyper 212+ is good one. (if i find site, where CM Hyper 212+ is only 25$ i will send you in pm)

My turbo is off, don't need me right now. And everythink is nice surf, gaming, movie...

About GPU look for MSI and one with "Twin Frozn II" thermal cooling system, like this:

- R5870 Twin Frozr II

- N260GTX Twin Frozr OC

lol yea and with summer coming up it usually hits up to 40+avg lol, but yea im about to order the 212 now and hope for it to come on time lol, a side fan 80mm is coming also so i hope that would lower my GPU temps aswell =)
