Computer Suddenly Shut Down-won't turn on-PSU issue?

I was using my desktop. It is a I5-750 with a Gigabyte P55 MB. I have a 550 W BFG PSU (BAD CHOICE...I know) I was surfing the net when it suddenly shut down. It won't turn back on-not even a fan.
I am assuming this is a power supply failure? If it was the MB, I would at least get the fans right?
This is the second BFG power supply to fail on me in 6 months-last one was RMAed. Totally unbelievable.

Yup, the PSU it is. After you RMA it & a new one comes, try selling it & getting a new one. Or just try getting your cash-back on this one.

Probably is the PSU. But in case it isn't, you need to do a little more troubleshooting:

And if it is the PSU, buy a better one. I recommend Corsair and most Antecs.
