I recently bought a system with i7 and Intel WX58BP chipset. It contains USB 2.0. Can I later attach an USB 3.0 in it

to my knowledge the answer is yes. For 2.0 there were PCI cards and I would imagine there will be for 3.0 as well. Typically they have 2-4 ports on them.
