hey I have a friend that has a WorkStation Computer and he would like to upgrade his Quadro FX 1500 workstation video card.
He doesn't want to spend much but What we came across was a ATI FireGL V7700 video card for his workstation computer.
Now do think he should buy this for $200.00 on Newegg? He only have $300 dollars to spend now and would this card make a difference since
it does have 320 processor units and a 512MBGDDR4 256Bit interface. Note that other online retailers are selling this for $599.99

The Quadro FX 1500 is only 256Mb 256bit interface with only GDDR3.
Do you think this would be a better card for now until he can get some money together for a future card about 1 year down the road?
I told him Yes to buy.

Going to need professional eyes.

Did he saw the article?, i see some very good gains for only 200 bucks to be honest. The other option would be to wait for the 1500+ bucks workstation cards to drop to 200 but i don't see that happening any time soon.

I already read that article a while back
I think he should but he's picky about stuff like that. He's Asian so it has to be a good product or we will start fighting. LOL
