Disk in drive is not formatted

Hi, I have a problem with one of my hard disks.

I don't know why I got this problem, I wasn't doing anything special with my computer. Wasn't even using drive F when it happened.

Now my (F:)  has no name anymore, just says "local disk", and when I try to open it I get this message: "The disk in drive F is not formatted. Do you want to format it now?"

More about : disk drive formatted

off hand, it sounds as if one of your partitions has been deleted ... It also might be a BLANK thumb/USBkey/pen drive or flash memory device which has recently been inserted.

Drive "F:" ? ... That is at least 6 partitions on (IDK) how many drives ??

Name them ... ALL ... physical as well as virtual.
