Phenom II 965 BE OC Gaming Performance

Hi Folks:

My system specs are Phenom II 965 BE OC @ 3.8 GHz I am thinking to overclock at 4-4.2 ghz, will this increase my overall gaming performance, more FPS? it is combined wiith a evga 660 ti superclocked 3GB.
Or do you recommend me to go with FX 8350 or i5 3570k?

you might get a little more performance out of it but i would think you would have better effect adding a second 660 ti for sli

Yeah but instead of having SLI I prefer to wait for the radeon 8000 series and get the 8970 or wait for the geforce 700 and get the 780 after selling my 660 ti, I want to solve my CPU issue to avoid any bottlenecks and get the best performance.
