Hello,
I'm looking to overclock my PC just enough so that I don't need any extra cooling gear and I can play, let's say AC 3 on normal settings without lag.
I'm running Win7 64bit and my specs are:
-Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53 Ghz
-ATI(AMD) Radeon 4850 HD Series 512MB
-2x Kingston Hyperx 1GB RAM Chips DDR2
mainboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5K SE Rev 1.xx

From a newegg review:
FSB= 422Mhz
CPU Multiplier=9.5
VCore=1.48V
Should give you 4GHz, I personally would just start moving the FSB up 10MHz until it won't boot then go back 5MHz, 2, 1MHz until it is stable; I don't like changing VCore because it adds a lot of heat and fades the CPU faster.

P.S. I am presuming you know how to get into BIOS, if not it is usually the Del or Esc key at power on, then move over to the Advanced tab and something about Jumper Free Configuration or CMOS and you will see these settings.
