My reader for the memory card is just like that gone. I have tried to find out how or WHAT happen for it to be gone but am at a loss. I also went to Manager but there are so many options I am leery to select one in fear to make damages. May I receive help in guiding me what I have to do to get this drive/reader back. Thank you.

Try plugging it into a different USB port. If that does not help, try a different memory card that you now worked before.

Phil I done this and the card is working. Seems my drive is gone because i can't download any files to a CD any longer as well.
