ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: First complete build in a very long time (Athlon XP anyone?)

I need a stable, competent machine for now, that in six months or so could handle light gaming with the addition of a discrete video card. No hardcore gaming ever. I've got this spec'd out, but wish I could get the (without OS) price down to $500. Am I going to be miserable with onboard video and wish I had just grabbed Proximon's Bargain AMD setup?
