Hi, to make things short, I am a noob. I built my first computer about 2 weeks ago, and I want to OC my CPU. I have an AMD FX-6300 coming in stock at 3.5 Ghz (4.1 Turbo). I have a HAF 912 case, so I get lots of airflow, I also have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 evo CPU cooler. So yeah, I was wondering what reasonable overclocks other people got from this CPU, and what Performance increase I should expect. Thank you very much!

Use google and look up an AMD FX overclocking guide. You will be able to get a least 4.5ghz if you have a good MOBO.

I have a 600w PSU, my Motheboard is an Asrock 970 Extreme 4, and I have a 200mm fan in front, one 120mm in the back, and another 120mm on top exhausting the hot air

This should be a fairly helpful set of tools to safely overclock. From what you have said, you have no after market cooler, so you won't be able to safely OC too high. These guidelines should fair you ok.
