Change / Replace cd-rom drive

hi,

i have an Acer Aspire 1202x laptop. I was thinking of changing the
cd-rom to a dvd-rom. I tried to search for a technical manual online
which describes how to open up and take out the cd-rom. But all i
could find is a simple user's manual.

Can someone please tell me how do i remove and replace the cd-rom w/o
damaging the laptop. Which dvd-rom should i buy so that it fits my
current laptop?
