Cpu overclocking

hello to my friends here @tom's hardware,I have a phenom-2 965 black mobo msi 970a-g46 i cant go past 3.9 im not new to overclocking,i can get it to 4.3 but way to much voilts,any tips to reach 4.2 overclock,thank u guys for any help u can give me,ps would a better mobo get the job done but the msi 970a is really good for its price,
