How to take a screen off a gateway laptop

This can be very involved with laptops. Why do you need to remove the screen? Are you replacing teh screen or a left or right hinge?

I have taken apart many laptops and I seriously recommend taking it to a certified tech to have the work done. Even then only about half the techs I have worked with actually know what they are doing.
