Hello,if i use the best ati radion vidieo card, and dream catagory computor,and combine with a good 42 inch,lcd hd tv,will i get a good as picture in gaming as i would with a good lcd monitor,say 24 inch.

A 42" TV with a res of 1920 x 1080 tends not to look as good as a 24" monitor at the same res due to the TV having bigger pixels but it can be seen from further away.

The 24" Monitor would look better because both the monitor and the TV would run at 1920 x 1080, but because the TV is sooo big the pixels will be bigger and so the image won't look as sharp.
By the way, you don't have to use the best graphics card you can buy, it just needs to be able to play games well at 1920 x 1080
