have you looked at overclocking guides for that processor? I highly doubt it will go up to 5...

i got 4ghz and max tamps were 40c on a hot day
  2. + i was play a cpu heavy game

  4. I thought about 4 was the limit for that processor

i saw a guy with 5gz http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2412297 that is the guys
  6. He did that by ajusting his bus speed to a dangerous level.

Your frequency is your multiplier times your bus speed... You're doing it the safe way, which gets you as close to your maximum overclock as you can go.

Notice that he has low-end parts in there? That's intentional, as he was going for a record: he upped his bus speed to the point where he probably fried his USB ports. (And if he put a heavy load on the computer would probably also fry his SATA ports, PCIe slots, and DIMM slots.)
  7. He also had above average cooling as well. I would look at a lot of people's overclock especially not on that site because those tend to be people going for their max clock speed not there everyday speed. I think you might be able to get 4.1 to 4.2 if you push the voltage but idk what the safe voltage is for the cpu.
  8. my motherborad has voltage safty if it is to high no post to low underclock
  9. so i have the highest overclock for my cpu
  10. the links show no proof of stability either show a screen of prime95 test with cpu-z or occt for 2 hours

    what do you mean
  14. i mean biostar isnt exactly a household name in the realm of overclocking

asrock, asus and to a slightly lesser extent, gigabyte are what you want
