Asus EAX1050 256mb
2gb DDR2
320GB HDD

Keyboard, Mouse

fyi: a new E7500 cost $140
i7 920 = $350
evga GTS250= $150
my desktop is a p4 2.4 system, 1G ram,128mb fx5600. i know its craap...
is the asus card better than fx5600?
is the above a good deal?
i want to play games

1) The X1050 is better than the FX5600 ( http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-graphics-card,... )
2) It is a decent deal for $170. It is a decent upgrade from your P4. The system in general will still have issues playing the modern games at a decent level. You might be better off saving additional money and build a newer budget PC. You can build one for roughly $600 (US), OS included, that will be way better.
