Hardrive won't show up in computer

Hello Community,
I was installing a new seagate momentus 750GB hardrive to add on to my ocz vortex 120GB SSD but for some reason it doesn't show up beside my drive when i open computer and look at my drives, i need some help please.

Did you format the drive and assign a drive letter? Goto start, right click Computer (My Computer) and click manage and find Disk Management on the left. See if you see your new drive listed as a volume, if so, right click format and select quick format, give it a drive letter.
