Hi,

after a lot of research, I have just got the information from graphic card forums that I do not need SLI or crossfire at 1680 x 1050 resolution. A single GTX 460, 470 or a HD 6850, 6870 would suffice me for another 2 years or so.

SO I've decided to go only with single graphics solution. So I want your suggestions on getting a good AM3 motherboard (good overclocking features) for a single graphics card (no crossfire, no sli).

please suggest me a few motherboards that also have good overclocking features.

Here are three choices for a motherboard with your system choices. The one thing to note is if you go the ATI route, I would seriously consider getting the ASRock Extreme3 at these price ranges. It gives you the best price to performance / features. Even though you don't plan to Crossfire, it is always a good option to keep open, specially at the same price range. :)

I am just looking to buy one card system only. probably a gtx 460 or a 470.

a single card board or a dual card board, it does not matter to me. I am going to use only one card for 1680*1050 resolution monitor. SLI or crossfire would be overkill.

I would definitely prefer ATX boards. I don't like MATX boards. they are too small and not much room for expansion.

check out this motherboard (NVIDIA). It gives DDR3 support along with SLI 16x.

Now please suggest me a PSU for a single GTX 470 along with an AM3 CPU (ATX Mob).
