I'm just asking if these parts all fit with eachother, so that should be irrelevant. But yes, it'll be used for gaming and other easier activities

Well all the parts should fit and if you're just a casual gamer who does other things too this is a very good configuration if you're a hardcore gamer I'd go with an i5 750 and a better graphics card(you'll also need different ram and mobo obviously). And do you know which latency your ram has? because lower latencies lower the time to start up proggrams

That is possible, but I want to be able to use this computer in a couple of years too. I'm going to play Bad Company 2 mainly, will this computer be able to drive it on max performance?

Yes this is a pretty high end build and will almost certainly handle bc2 on highest graphics. And as willmalcom said I mean timings beacause mhz doesn't make so much of a difference unless you overclock since you need to pump up the fbs to go over 1066mghz

I haven't got it yet (it's on it's way) and I won't be playing until I get the computer. My Steam account's name is Excluzive (made it when I was like 13). Go ahead and add me

I would suggest taking 6gb though since that improves speed a lot more than cas latency or frequency (since it's triple channel). You could also go for 3gb but thats really not a lot.

I'm going for this setup. I was really just asking if they all fit lol. Btw, a lot of my friends are telling me not to buy Windows 7 with it as they have a fully working copy of it that anyone can use. Seems like this is actually working, since a lot of them are using it. Is it too good to be true or am I just a bit outdated?

Turns out pretty much every store in Norway is out of Sapphire Radeon HD 5850. I'll have to wait until the 9th of April before I order it.

Never mind the post above.

Mind THIS, though!

I could be buying the computer right now if it wasn't for that damn GPU. It's sold out EVERYWHERE! Netonnet.no MIGHT get it 19.04.10. There are a lot of sites that have the HD 5770, though. Should I go for it, or is the 5850 so much better that it's worth the wait? I'll be playing Bad Company 2.
