To expand on what cmichael138 wrote, unlike desktop drives the drives for laptop machines are highly specific to one or a few models from the same manufacturer. The model of your PC and, if available, the model of the disk player would be useful.

Did you contact Asus? Also, you wrote "driver." Do you mean the "drive," the hardware that reads the disc, or an actual software driver? Most drives don't need specific drivers these days.
