How do I transfer files from a removed hard drive to laptop

WHAT tool do i need to transfer data from hard drive that i removed from my crashed laptop to my new laptop?

You Can buy a hard drive dock (2.5" in your case for laptop HD's) and plug it in as an external storage device. Depending on what you want, prices vary from 10$ to 80$. You will have to remove your HD from your computer though screwdriver required), but since it's dead already there is no major concern other than saving your HD.

they also make usb to sata cable for people to do what you want to do. there a little more easer to use as you just push the drive onto the connector and your done.
