A 1000w PSU is not necessary a good 650w would be great for any crossfire or SLI single card combination. dualnos March 8, 2010 2:59:35 AM paperfox said:Yes you can crossfire cards of different manufacturers. AND ACTUALLY THE POWER SUPPLY IM GETTING AS A GIFT FROM MY BROTHER SO MIGHT AS WELL TAKE IT FOR NOW Best solution paperfox March 8, 2010 3:05:59 AM The 1GB card will only use 512MB as the other card is limiting it. Since the second card you are buying is the 1GB card I suggest you save some money and get the 512MB version. Other than that its nothing to be worried about. microterf March 8, 2010 3:07:54 AM Paperfox, I think he's getting the card used, doesn't sound like he can get a 512 MB version. Either way, Paperfox is right, will only use 512 MB from each card, but will definetly work. dualnos March 8, 2010 3:59:55 AM WELL YEAH ACTUALLY THE SAPPHIRE 4870 WILL BE SLIGHTY A USED CARD... BUT NOW I KNOW I WILL NOT HAVE NO PROBS THANKS FOR THE RESPONSES.. ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW???? microterf March 8, 2010 4:07:03 AM Nothing really. Should work fine, just plug them in, hook up the Crossfire ribbon, boot up, go to CCC and CrossfireX, enable it, and you should be fine. dualnos March 8, 2010 9:16:58 AM Best answer selected by dualnos. matt314 March 8, 2010 3:12:39 PM Get a new keyboard too since your capslock key is broken.
