Hey everyone,

I'm building a new box and the last few pieces I'm missing are the case, PSU, and the video card. I wanted to get an idea of what kind of power supply I should be looking at. This isn't exactly my current set up, but more for what I think I would max out over the course of the next year or so.

CPU: i7-860
RAM: 4 x 2GB DDR3 1600
HD: 2 X 1TB 7200 RPM
GPU: ATI Radeon 5850 x 2 (CrossFireX)
Disc Drives: 1 Bluray, 1 DVD-RW
Case: Most likely Antec 902 or NZXT Tempest EVO

I was recommended the Antec EarthWatts 650. Is this enough? Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Brandon

Yes.. Actually a good 650 watt unit will power two 5850's nicely but considering the arbitrary aspects, a higher wattage unit (and also from a good brand) will ensure mental peace..
Antec PSU's are very good in quality.. You won't go wrong with the earthwatts.. HOwever, i feel 650W would be a tight squeeze so if you can opt for a good 750W PSU, it'll better.. For that i may recommend the corsair TX 750W (HX 750W if you need modular PSU)..
