Hello there everyone!
Straight to the point for a quick ask-answer topic.
I'm wondering if this Cpu and Gpu could be overclocked? If so, what would be the max? And what kind of precautions should I be awared of/take?
I bought:
Processor: Intel Core i5-3350P Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Pro3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB

Would anything overheat and/or eventually destroy itself?

Thanks in advance! Have a wonderful day.

the GPU should be able to OC a bit. download the EVGA precision software. it's what I used and got my standard 570's up above the Superclocked versions.

the CPU, on the other hand does NOT have an unlocked multiplier (k-versions). you may be able to get it up like 0.2GHz more, but that's not really going to yield much of an improvement. just forget about OC'ing that... :\

next time make sure you give yourself OC headroom (good cooler, OC capable mobo, unlocked CPU, good case airflow)
or upgrade ur current system and see what you can do, but if you do, just wait for the next gen i5's to release in like 1-2 months, cause existing CPU's will drop in price and the new ones will outperform anything out now too...
