Hey, I have seen alot of threads about overclocking the i5 3570k. But I havent found the answer to my question.
I am currently running an i5 3570k@4.7ghz on an asus p8z77-v pro motherboard with a Noctua nh-d14 cooler. Cm Storm Stryker case.
My question is basicly if the temps I get is ok and if the vcore is ok.

Idle temps: 30c
prime95 for 30 mins: 78c

Bus speed: 100mhz
Multiplier: x47

My cpu-z says core voltage is at 1.270. But I am very sure that I only sat it to 1.250 in the bios. Am i missing something? That increased voltage does increase the temp I guess?

Is this normal temp for that high overclock?
Anyhow, would you say 78c while running prime95 is ok?
And is there anything I am missing, because I am very sure I can get at least 4.8ghz. But then the temps got 85c-88c ish.

Running at 70c may seem fine to you but your computers dieng on the inside, i'm not sure what you could do to bring it down other than water cooling, even though you have a nice heatsink already. Maybe your case needs more airflow? What's your power supply and video card? Fans could be getting too little power or are set to run at their lowest speeds and you have to manually change it.
