Where do my scans go on my DESKTOP?

where do my scans go on my desktop,i cant find them

Some scanning software creates a folder in My Pictures and calls it something original like My Scans. Microsoft's Scanner and Camera Wizard invites you to name a folder or by default, uses the one you saved to last time. Run a search for a filename you may have used or scan something else and watch carefully as the settings pages go by.
