Ive just installed a new graphics card and my pc bleeps 3 times but doesnt boot

hi/ive just tried to install another graphics card my old 1 geforce2 still works but only just, the new 1 is 3d prophet 2, all i get is 3 bleeps then nothing, i press the power button and it shuts off straight away, it dosn't boot up..i put my old 1 back in to check out the prob over net, thy both ave 64mb and im running on 256 ddr ram 3gb cpu,,,help please, hate looking at bad display.

if it doesnt boot correctly it may be a hardware problem u need to talk to the manufactuer to find out what they mean. i think its probably insufficient power im not sure

check your mobo's manual what those error codes mean, they shouls be listed in there
