I have one of these machines and want to set it up as it was when it left
the suppliers.
I bought a set of restoration cd's but when I try to use them I just get a
message saying that they are not for use with the machine - they are genuine
Panasonic restore CD's for a CF-27!
The machine is running Win98, has a 266Mhz processor and 160Mb ram, a
touchscreen(which doesn't seem to work). I have been on Panasonics website
and tried all their available downloads but to no avail - I would be
satisfied if I could just get proper graphics drivers!!
One more thing, on boot the speaker beeps incessantly until the 'enter' key
is pushed, it then runs normally.

I've had better success finding the right drivers on the Panasonic Canadian
site -- IIRC, www.panasonic.ca

Thanks Rick! What a phenominal site!!! It beats their "Global" site into a
cocked hat, sometimes I get the feeling that manufacturers don't really want
to help us punters!

For what CF-27? There are several models, the oldest having a PentiumMMX 266
and 32MB EDO-RAM (also work with SDRAM) while the newer models have a
PII-300 CPU and 64MB SDRAM...

Sure it has touchscreen? This has been an option on these models

Looks like a stuck key. Quite common on these keyboards...
