  1. Follow the guidelines. We need to know what you already have and what's needed. We also need to know what resolution you're using.

Assuming you don't need anything except the tower (no monitor, keyboard, mouse, OS, etc.):

    CPU/Mobo: X3 440 and Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 $195 after rebate
    RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $115
    GPU: HD 5850 $315
    HDD/PSU: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB and OCZ StealthXStream 700W $85 after rebate
    Case: Coolermaster Elite $40
Optical: Cheap SATA DVD burner $20

    Total: $770
  2. Lol Admiral i dont need a build i just want you guys to post your builds to see what u guys consider a good budget build 700-800$ build with out OS, etc
  3. Admirals build is good. Could save a little money without loosing much performance.

Gigabyte 770TA-UD3 and Athlon II x3 435 ($150 after rebate)

There are a few sets of DDR3-1333 Cas 8 RAM for $100 that would save money with negligible performance loss.

Depends on if you want the best price/performance or the highest performance at your price range.
