RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $115
GPU: HD 5850 $315
HDD/PSU: Seagate 7200.12 500 GB and OCZ StealthXStream 700W $85 after rebate
Case: Coolermaster Elite $40
Optical: Cheap SATA DVD burner $20

Admirals build is good. Could save a little money without loosing much performance.

Gigabyte 770TA-UD3 and Athlon II x3 435 ($150 after rebate)

There are a few sets of DDR3-1333 Cas 8 RAM for $100 that would save money with negligible performance loss.

Depends on if you want the best price/performance or the highest performance at your price range.
