I'm new to the forum, so I apologize if I go about this the wrong way....

I just want a little feedback on my complete build. I want to know whether or not i've made good choices.

This PC will be used for gaming, homework, and will possibly be connected to a 37" 1080p LCD TV to stream High Def content.

Ok here goes....

CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor Model HDZ955FBGMBOX

HSF - Hyper 212+

Mobo - GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4 AM3 AMD 790X SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Case - COOLER MASTER HAF 922 RC-922M-KKN1-GP Black Steel + Plastic and Mesh Bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

PSU - OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Optical - ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD Burner

Video Card - DIAMOND 5850PE51G Radeon HD 5850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

HDD 1 (O.S.) - Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3160318AS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

HDD 2 (Data) - Hitachi Deskstar 1tb 7200rpm

Monitor - ASUS VW224U Black 22" 2ms(GTG) Widescreen LCD Monitor (1680 x 1050)

A few notes....

I do plan on overclocking, but only a little... I'm kinda cheap and just wanted to save the few bucks between the 955 and 965.

I realize that a 5850 may be overkill for my monitor, but i figured with the high def tv, I might need the extra muscle.

I have heard of the Hitachi "Deathstar" and all of its problems, but I got such a great deal on it I decided to take a chance. I back up regularly to an external, so don't worry about little old me and my data...

I've heard of problems with the hyper 212+ and the HAF 922, does anyone have an opinion on whether or not this cooler fits well in the case?

The total came to around 1100 dollars, the tippy top of my budget, so i'd also like to know if I spent my money wisely.

Thanks guys
