No picture playing some games on my dell6400/E1505

Hello, i have a dell inspiron6400/E1505 laptop, trouble i am having when playing games,on some games the screen goes blank but can still hear the sounds has any one got any ideas how i could fix it please, thanks.

when does this symptom happen? during game play? or the game itself right off the load doesn't show an image. did these games work before and then one day stopped working?

hello, its just after game download mostly maybe my graphics card is not cappable of playing the game could that be the case? ps thanks for the reply

that's actually what i was thinking, incompatibility could be it. Laptops are not really good for gaming unless you got a specialized laptop specifically designed for gaming.
