Does this system have a significant bottleneck anywhere?

Well, aside from building a new PC around a Athlon X3, I don't see any issues. I do expect the rig to be considered underpowered on the CPU side of things within a year or two though...

Also, get a bigger PSU. You'll save yourself many problems later on. No reason to not get at least 650W...

Really, now is NOT a good time to buy a new system around old tech, with the re-release of Sandy Bridge and Bulldozer looming...

what are sandy bridge and bulldozer?

Sandy bridge is the new line of Intel processors, they are the i3, i5, and i7 with 4 digit model numbers like the i5-2500 and i7-2600k. Bulldozer is AMDs new chips that are due out in Q2 of 2011, new architecture so it will be interesting, but giong by your budget range, neither one of them are viable options for you as in the low in AMD chips are a better value than the similarly priced intel chips, and bulldozer will be rather expensive when its first released.

"Really, now is NOT a good time to buy a new system around old tech, with the re-release of Sandy Bridge and Bulldozer looming." Neither Sandy bridge or bulldozer are going to be priced less than double the cost of this build (CPU & Motherboard part) and an Athlon x3 with a 5770 can play any game smoothly on medium to high settings.

sweet! this is pretty much all i was looking for with this build

^ +1 that PSU is better. I forgot to say when I said "Athlon x3 with a 5770 can play any game smoothly on medium to high settings." I should have said Athlon x3 with a 5770 can play any game smoothly on medium to high settings at 1920 x 1080 resolution or lower. If you have a huge monitor or are running 2+ monitors then you may be limited to low-medium settings.

32" tv will be used as monitor but if i can play 1920x1080 smoothly at medium settings i will be more than happy
