Hello,
accidently formated drive for use by MAC and now I can't find a way to reformat it back to NTSF.

Also, can the simple drive be partitioned for use by MAC and WINDOWS/

So you formatted it on a MAC? Are you still using a MAC? If so go with exFAT, otherwise reformat on a PC to NTFS by unallocating, reinitializing and format in NTFS.
