LED or Full HD LCD monitor?

If it was me, I'd probably go with the 22".

Thing is, there are 2 types of LED backlit LCD's. The local dimming variety and the ones wherein the CCFL is just replaced with LEDs.

The local dimming variety is the one that could produce real black, and those things are not anywhere near cheap. The other variety is the one wherein the CCFL was juts replaced with LED. LED's could produce a bit better white's, consume less power and could make lcd's thinner.

The lcd you listed might be the latter. If your priority is on color or power consumption, the led might better. Though the other one is bigger and has a larger max resolution.

Just what amno said. If you're into power saving, the 19" should save you more energy. But, then again, CFL LCD's are rather low power as well.

Plus, 22" is a really nice size for gaming. I love mine.
