Hello,
My desktop dell had some virus problem I cleaned it up then when i turned on it asked about a pass. I took off the battery and 5 min after I put back. And now the message is :
Invalid configuration information - please run SETUP program.
Performing automatic IDE configuration.
Drive 0 : Disk Drive
Time - of - day not set - please run SETUP program.
Type the system password and press «ENTER».
Enter password :

How can I solve it?

If you don't need what you have on the hard drive, you can take it out and connect it to another working PC and do a reformat. This should allow you to do a fresh install on the original PC and by pass the password requirements.

How can I solve it?

Have you tried to press Enter without keying a password?
