MOBO: ??? I'm not sure. I don't ever plan on SLI, so..? I was looking at this board since it is cheap - but I really have no idea what product I might need...
GIGABYTE GA-P55M-UD2 (Link)

HSF: I would eventually get one, but since I am not OC'ng probably for a long while is it neccessary at this point? Would it be difficult to put in one, like maybe a year from now?

My eventual plans were to sit on the desktop and enjoy my casual gaming (I play games such as Bioshock 2, L4D2, Batman: AA, Battlefield: BC2). In time, I would OC and bump up the Video Card if I fell below "mid-settings" on most games. But in no way do I /always/ require max setting, I just want smooth play.

It's an alright build. It will certainly do fine for you. I do have a couple of changes.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 $135. This is a much more future proof board as it has USB 3/SATA III support.

HSF: You don't need one until you start overclocking. However, the one I would recommend is the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus.

Something you may want to consider is getting an AMD build. It would save you some money, but would have slightly lower performance. However, you get a better upgrade than with the i5. If you want to look into it, I recommend the X4 955 and Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 for $228 after rebate.
