Laptop powers up on battery. However, the battery doesn't charge and there's no power indicator lit on the systems control panel. The service manual doesn't mention an internal fuse. ANY HINTS? Like I see exist three possibilities for ur problem: 1- The battery is coming to the end of his life. 2- The charger is dead. 3- Both battery and charger are the problem. Or is the battery, or is the charger or are both. shovenose a b ) Power supply June 14, 2010 1:47:43 AM not neccessarily the mobo, but there is some internal circuitry in the lapotp, sometimes its its one board, sometimes its part of the motherboard, that controls such matters.
