Ok so i just dropped the slidding draw of my new computer table on my screen
I have a problem in as much as the new table has a hole of 50cm 500mm if its easier.
Anyway the problem is i cant get a Monitor that fits at 1680x1050 in 20" well im sure i could but not today :bounce:
I can get one that has a resolution of 1600x1200 but i have no idea of what that is as far as games etc, will they play native ? What about films ? I have a chart for all this but its not on this laptop its on the main PC that has no screen.
Please can anyone who has one advise me on what its like.

1600x1200 is a square monitor, or 4:3.

Wait, mactronix!? You don't need help!

Guess i should just give it up for a while and think about it properly. Damn i was looking forward to some gaming time tonight :fou:

Odd post from you mac this one.

Take a deep breath and relax.

Before you do anything rash and get a 16 x 9 ratio screen, calm down and get a nice 16 x 10.

Yes you are of course correct, im all :pt1cable:  not to mention pissed off at my self for doing it   Im leaving it for a few hours and going to look around properly later on. If it takes a few day then it does.
Im going to get a 1680 x 1050. There may be a possability of fitting a 1920x1080 but thats still to be seen.
Im good now thanks for the replies
