I5 2500k P67a UD3 B3 overclock 4.0-4.2 plz HElp for beginner.

Any picture of the Bios ? You should be able to set the voltage manually in the same tab. 1.5 will be good i think. If it's not increase it a bit.

Don't dare touch that vCore to 1.5v. 1.25 is more than enough for 4-4.2. Heck I have mine running at 1.25 @4.4 with 3570K. Just go to the settings and make sure you have that as your settings and for memory increase the voltage to 1.5 and change the speed to 1600 if you have it and save and exit.

So CPU at 4.2 with 1.25 or less
Memorry XMP, Profile 1, 1600MHz @ 1.5. Change the timing to 9-9-9-27 for both A and B channel. Save and exit. Voila!

1.5 vcore its to much i think
for 4 ghz OC

My 3770k needs 1.6 for 4.2Ghz

When i reduce vcore to 1.25 manual i have vdroop!!
1.3 vcore its safe?

Ooopps i meant 1.16 for 4.2Ghz

The max safe is 1.50 but you can clearly use it at 1.3GHz as long as your temps are good

Here my settings now all in auto as it is only disabled turbo boost and xtreme mrmoty profile to profile 1

Put the BCLK to 100 exactly, this is "safer".

bclk clock control is disabled in bios.

before it was 99.6 i think not exactly 100!
